1. BOH Tea Plantation Tour

Founded in year 1929 by J.A Russel,a British Businessman, the BOH Tea Company holds three major tea gardens in Cameron Highlands – Habu, Fairy Tea Garden and Sungai Palas Tea Garden. Exploring these 8000 acres of tea plants covered land would be an adventure itself. However, there is an availability of tour guide in Sungai Palas Tea Garden who is friendly to assist in the tea plantation tour by explaining how the tea leaves are harvested and grown to every tour members.

3. Lavender Garden

5. Butterfly Farm Visiting
If you have ever wanted to be enchanted to colourful butterflies flitting through the air and sitting on beautiful flowers, the Butterfly Farm in Cameron Highlands is sure to delight.
The Butterfly Farm is probably the oldest tourist attraction available in Cameron Highlands which is also an excellent spot to enjoy the beauty of various butterflies species in a rainbow of colours. 7. Rose Smelling in Rose Garden

8. Adopting A Prickly Cactus
The cactus botanical show garden available in RM5 for adults, RM2 for children below 12 years old features a wide collections of cacti, flowers and ornament plants of various size, colour and shapes. Apart from the cactus,you may spot varieties of vegetable crops are cultivated here using hydroponic method. Mini cucumbers, tomatoes and strawberries are among others grown there.

9. Mountain Brinchang Climbing
One of the most popular peaks in Cameron Highlands is Mount Brinchang and the best way to get to the top would be hiking all its way along the winding road. At 2031 meters above sea level, Mountain Brinchang is the tallest mountain in Cameron Highlands.
You will be able to see it almost from anywhere in Cameron Highlands with its distinctable Telecommunication Tower at its summit. This hair-raising activity is really exciting and great for any team bonding activity or as a morning exercise to keep the body fit.
There would be two different method to reach the mountain top; one is by accessing a narrow road near BOH Tea Plantation while the other is via the jungle trail at Brinchang Town. 10. Mossy Forest Hiking

11. Thompson Falls

12. Morning and Night Markets
Undeniably, morning and night markets are always the popular choice of tourism attractions if a person would like to be indulged into the local culture and living styles. It is the same when you are visiting to Cameron Highlands too.
There are two types of markets in this location, which is the morning market, as known as pasar pagi and the night market, known as pasar malam. Both of these markets are located in two most prominent areas, the KEA Farm Town and the Brinchang Town.
The morning market is accessible in KEA Farm from 8am daily till 12 noon while the night market starts on 3pm till late night or supplies sold. There are almost everything available in both markets, ranging from clothing to accessories, gifts shops, fruits, vegetables and even spices.
You will be able to find some street food like deep fried enoki mushrooms, barbecued meat and local delicacies in the night market that are suitable as dinner or supper. These food are usually sold in a cheap price, so they are not to be missed.

13. Mah Meri Art Gallery
Mah Meri Art Gallery is a museum like gallery that showcase lots of private collections of Mah Meri indigenous people’s wood crave. Over the past three hundred years, the Mah Meri expressed their believes and cultures in every sculpture carved out of wood.
All of these wood sculptures are made out of pure mangrove hardwood, namely Nyireh Batu. But sadly, these Byireh Batu are becoming very scarce due to the excessive land excavation and spread of palm oil plantation there, in Carey Island.
All of Mah Meri spritual wood carving are truly world class level in the quality and artistry. Most of these carvings had been awarded the SEAL of Excellence by UNESCO. As well as wood carvings, you will also be able to spot the tribe’s masks, ornates and eerie sculptures crafted purely by handwork.

14. Admiring Sam Poh Temple
Nestled behind the town at a small hill top, the Sam Poh Temple is the biggest religious constructions available in Cameron Highlands. Upon entering, you will be able to notice that the scent of incense hangs heavy in the open air and some local Buddhists visiting to pray and make merit there.
Built in year 1972, this temple offers a fascinating view of the town from the top. The major statue of Sam Poh Temple is a giant Buddha statue, since the temple’s primarily is Buddhist in nature. Its major attractions would be its Oriental architecture design with artefact and brass statues placed at every corner. The walls of the temple displayed hundreds of small ceramic images of their Lord Buddha and there are also lots of other Buddha statues and pictures for admire too.

16. Orang Asli Village Tour
Literally known as ‘Original people’ in Malay, Orang Asli referred to the various indigenous group that live in Cameron Highlands. These Original People are from the Semai tribe who are well known for their traditionally conserved shifting cultivation and blowpipe hunting technique passed down for generations.
Most of the Orang Asli villages dotted around the main road which leads up to Tanah Rata, the central town of Cameron Highlands. So, if you want to really witness a traditional working village of these Original People, then you can join the Orang Asli Tour organized by the local people living there.
There would be a friendly tour guide patiently explaining and translating everything throughout the tour. Also, the tour guide will assist you to go into the more remoted area of these Original People too.

17. Agriculture Learning At MardiAgro Technology Park
Launched on June 2014, the brainchild of Malaysian Research and Development Institute, MARDI stated that they commonly received approximately 100,000 visitors annually. This idea then lead to a turn of their former research station build in 1926 by British to an agro-technology park, after getting approval from the Agriculture Minister.
At Mardi Agro Technology Park, visitors are allowed to have hands on experience on horticultural activities. The labs and mini factories provide opportunities for youngsters to enjoy test bed technology of fruits products processing and organic fertilizers making. During the activity, there will be an agriculture expert providing useful information on farm problems related to pest, soil, physiological disorders and diseases.
Mardi Agro Technology Park is divided into six major areas; the Informative Centre, Research Centre, English Garden, Herb Garden, Rose Garden and Orchid Garden. These major areas are the home to varieties species of roses, strawberries and citrus fruits. The sale centre there do offer MARDI’s products and products from relevant agricultural agencies in Cameron Highlands. Pot plants, fresh cut flowers and vegetables are also on sale too.

18. Golf Game
If a relaxing golf game is your preferred method of leisure getaway during the holiday, head to Sultan Ahmad Shah Golf Course. This 18 holes golf course located between the Tanah Rata and Brinchang area is also the only golf course that you can find in Cameron Highlands.
