1. Pusat Rekreasi Kolam Air Panas
Built with a concept of ‘Medicated while Recreation’, Pusat Rekreasi Kolam Air Panas is a small recreational park established in Labis, Segamat since 1996. It aims to provide the communities in generate and recovery process in reducing the amount of damaged tissues in the body. It is a great place for family trip or friends gathering while enjoying some refreshment from both active or passive activities.
The main attractions of Pusat Rekreasi Kolam Air Panas would be their Kolam Air Panas. Literally known as the hot spring pool, this pool owns its specialty in medication.
There are four hot water pools with different depth available in Pusat Rekreasi Kolam Air Panas and they are also the only hot water pools available in Johor State. It is also a nice event place to carry out activities such as camping, picnic, students visit and morning exercise.

2.Hutan Lipur Sungai Bantang
Hutan Lipur Sungai Bantang is one of the rain forest available in Johor. This rain forest is not very large, but it generously offer every nature lovers a place to relax their tired body and mind. With its natural ecosystem and strategic man made constructions, Hutan Lipur Sungai Bantang is considered as a tourist friendly rain forest that provides the visitors with experience of observing the nature.
Featured with nature streams, pools and rocky trails, Hutan Lipur Sungai Bantang is a great place for every adventurous to enjoy some forest exploration too. Upon arriving at the rain forest, you will be welcomed by a red and green colored 3 meters high entrance which is also the starting point for all hikers.
Approximately after 15 minutes of hiking, you will be able to see a small waterfall with swift flowing stream that make its way through numerous amount of small and big boulders. This waterfall is relative small in its height, but not its volume. This makes the waterfall a great place for a picnic and also swimming.
Need not to be too worried about the parking, there are a lot of parking slots available at the end of the asphalt road. You even can buy some drinks, snacks and towels at the stalls opened near the car park before starting your forest exploration also.

3. Takah Merluh Kb. Tenang
Originated from Aborigine Language, ‘Takah’ and ‘Merluh’ which literally means water container and asleep, Takah Merluh is one of the popular attractions available in Segamat that offers the tourists with nature rain forest and waterfalls. It gained its name from the Takah Merluh waterfall’s area that shaped like a notch which create a relaxing and sleepy atmosphere to the aborigines.
This waterfall is opened for visitors for free, without any payment charged. It is a suitable place to held activities like camping, picnics and also swimming. There are also various of facilities such as changing room, toilets, prayers hut and rest huts prepared around Takah Merluh waterfall to ease the visitors.

4. Aurora Leisure Farm (阳光休闲渔场)
Formerly known as the Atap Fishing park, Aurora Leisure Farm is a combination of fruit orchard and fishing park that is located in Kampung Sepinang, Segamat. Approximately 9 km away from the Segamat town, Aurora Leisure Farm is one of the well known fishing venue for all the fishing lovers. It had been operated for more than 20 years too.
This fishing farm is then constructed with numerous buildings as worker hostels, canteen, car parks and four fishing sheds. You may even join their fishing competition if you like.
Upon joining the fishing competition, you would be provided with a fishing rod and animals organ as fishing baits to fish. Keep in mind that only Patin, Rohu, Pacu and Carp would be entitled for their fishing tournament. Each fish is only entitled for one ranking too.
Besides that, they also own a 4 acres agriculture land, which is also the fruit orchard land. This fruit orchard of theirs is best visited during the fruit season, where seasonal fruits such as durians, rambutans, mangosteens are available.

5. Taman Rekreasi Sungai Kapeh
To enjoy some leisure time while visiting Segamat, head to the Taman Rekreasi Sungai Kapeh. It is a small park located near Sungai Kapeh, featured with various types of facilities and amenities such as children playgrounds, exercise facilities, resting huts and sport fields. The Dataran Segamat or Segamat Square was built in year 1996, acting as a principal place in Segamat to hold National Day celebrations of Johor state. This area was once known as the Padang Besar Segamat before it was renovated and renamed. In today, this place had become one of the most popular place for all the tourists and locals to stroll around and take beautiful snapshots.
After the renovation, there is a clock tower that has the similar shape as Kuala Lumpur Twin Tower built on the field. Now, whenever you are having a visit to Dataran Segamat, you will be able to find a durian replica placed near to the clock tower, which is also the landmarks of the Segamat City.

7. Jambatan Putus Buloh Kasap
For history lovers, it is a must for you all to have a visit to the Jambatan Putus Buloh Kasap. Literaly translated as Buluh Kasap Broken Bridge, this bridge itself do own a story. It is located in the village of Buloh Kasap, approximately 10km away from the Segamat Town.
Jambatan Putus Buloh Kasap was once demolished by the British in order to check for Japanese army’s advancing on their way to Singapore. However, the bridge is then a futile attempt as the Japanese army managed to take over the Segamat. After the war, there is a new bridge constructed beside the Jambatan Putus Buloh Kasap that is remained until today as a history war relic.

8. Kuari Simpang Jabi
Also known as the Canyon of the Bumbun, Kuari Simpang Jabi is a quarry made up of huge rock boulders with water flowing between its gaps. Upon arriving at the Kuari Simpang Jabi, you are required to park your car near the entrance and walk into the quarry by foot. You are reminded not to fish at the lake available in the canyon as this quarry is not an open public place.
