SINAR ECO RESORT
The city, home to many of us unfortunately, doesn’t provide much greenery or opportunity to interact with too many animals. Even though zoos exists, the animals there are always behind cages and glasses, making it almost no different from seeing animals from behind a screen. Established in 2016, Sinar Eco Resort is located in Pekan Nanas, Johor, Malaysia. Nestled deep within an oil palm plantation, the resort is designed with an ecological concept and features a large variety of animals.
Here at Sinar Eco Resort, every visitors would find that one of the best ways to learn about nature and animals is through interacting with the animals directly. Guests are encouraged to play and feed our animals and as a result of this, the resort’s animals are more acclimated to meeting new people and more friendly.
All of their activities are designed to cater to all age groups. Adventurous guests can enjoy their wide selections of thrilling and fast-paced activities while those preferring a leisurely holiday can indulge in interacting with animals or taking a slow cruise on the river. Achieving a unique status in itself, Sinar Eco Resort aims to always provide guests with a memorable experience.
ACTIVITIES OFFERED
1. INTERACT WITH ADORABLE ANIMALS
There are a lot of animals available in Sinar Eco Resort such as rabbits, goats, chickens, cows and ducks which are totally suitable to be pet. Need not to be afraid that these animals are actually very tame and friendly, since they are more acclimated to meet people. Feeding sessions are available too during specific time, all visitors are allowed to feed and interact with these cute animals under the supervision of the staffs.
2. HORSE RIDING
Take a ride on a majestic horse and get a feel of being an equestrian or knight! Besides options of enjoying horse riding in a fee-based experience classes and theme park, visitors now are able to try horse riding at Sinar Eco Resort. The horse riding activity is open to every visitors of all ages, including young children. Request of exchanging adult horse to pony ride for young children upon request is available as well. Need not to be worry that there is an experienced coach there all the times to guide and ensure the safety of every riders.
3. ATV AND BUGGY RIDE
Feel the wind in your hair as you drive around on an ATV or better yet, race your friends! Unlike normal ATV and Buggy Ride, Sinar Eco Resort’s ATV and Buggy Rides are more challenging as every visitors are able to have a ride on real rocky and sandy road surface instead of just a smooth black tar surface. There, experiences of speeding around the Kampung like a racer off the paved roads where anything goes could be gained! Prior booking is required, hence please remember to book with the staffs there in order to secure a place.
4. ARCHERY
Practice your aim and see if you can hit the mark! Take out your friends in a fun way with archery tag offered too. This comes in a few game modes and in various level.

5. RIVER CRUISE
Take a leisure cruise down the river to see the wonders of nature and biodiversity of the river. What’s special about Sinar Eco Resort’s river cruise is that guests are experiencing the cruise on a handmade bamboo ship instead of the normal typical boat that is made of steel. Safety jackets would be provided to every guests, so need not to worry that you will be drowned after felling from the ship. Besides that, there are friendly and experienced coaches available on the ship in order to ensure everyone’s safety too.
6. RIVER KAYAKING AND RAFTING
Explore the river either alone or with a friend completely at your own pace! Try out Sinar Eco Resort’s river kayaking and rafting upon your visit there. River kayaking would only require participation of one or two people while river rafting require teamwork from whole group of members. These activities not only challenging the stamina but also will strengthen the bonding among each other too. Equipment needed would be prepared fully and what you need to do is just take a trip down the river with your group of friends or family members on a home made eco-raft.
7. COW MILKING
Ever tried milking a cow or goat ?
Well, if your answer is a no, then you should try it out in Sinar Eco Resort. The resort offers a great opportunity for everyone to experience an animal feeding and also cow milking there.
