Hoo Peng Biscuit Company started their traditional biscuit business since the year 1961. Nam Yick Food Trading keeps the tradition method of making biscuits and mooncakes with a heritage goingback to the early 1900s. This Chinese traditional bakery survived for seven challenging decades in now Kluang’s oldest and most visited, especially during the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is proud to mention that those who grew up eating Nam Yick Food Trading’s mooncake are now grandparents, and their children’s children are enjoying eating the mooncakes as well.

Every pieces of Nam Yick Food Trading are made purely by hand, from mixing dough to casting shape using individual wooden blocks. There are no preservatives or artificial flavorings in the mooncakes too. It is a must to try Nam Yick Food Trading’s signature Five Kernel Mooncake.

Established since 1952 in Muar, Yong Sheng Gift Shop is one of the market leader of confectionery manufacture in Malaysia. To your surprise, 大四喜饼家is actually a home-inspired mooncake bakery started up in a normal terrace house. The founders of 大四喜饼家 actually started making mooncakes and bakery goodies as hobby., but they turn up opening their business in the house as there are more and more orders received from their customers. Yuen Fatt Bakery is the first bakery that offers Shanghai Mooncake in Kluang.

Unlike the common round or square shaped mooncake, Yuen Fatt Bakery’s Shanghai Mooncake has an elongated shape which looks like a rugby ball. It has a buttery fragrant crust that crumble easily and sweet, smooth filling. They offer three different flavour of mooncakes, which are the pandan, lotus paste and black sesame paste. For egg yolk lovers, the bakery also have the golden option for you.
