The Restoran Satay Xiang Ji is located along Jalan Portugis in the Kampung Dua area. This restaurant also embraces its aged aesthetic, and features tiled floors as well as bright lighting. A perfect old-timey satay place.

We highly recommend getting their Pork Intestine Satay, which is absolutely delicious. The intestines taste hearty and clean, with no grit in between them.

4. Ming Sate Hut

The Ming Sate Hut is situated along Jalan Pm 4 in the Plaza Mahkota area. It is a quaint restaurant featuring very cosy interior and bright lighting. The inside is airy and rather spacious, although the overall area is rather small.

The satay is very well marinated and grilled, with less emphasis on the sugar, which in turn brings out much more flavour from the meat itself. The pineapple peanut sauce is the perfect combination of sweet and sour, and really brings out the best in the satay.

The Suukee Satay is located in the Kompleks Perniagaan Kota Syahbandar, along Jalan KPKS1 in the Kota Syahbandar area. The interior features a classic look and feel, with marble top tables and dark wooden chairs as well as exposed brick walls and lots of overhanging red lace.

The pork satay here is fresh and has a clean taste, and is well grilled and seasoned to perfection. We also highly recommend that you give their Satay Pizza a try, which is a rather interesting menu item. An overall nice place to enjoy some satay if you’re into the aesthetic.
