Fancy a wild weed salad or a meal created with edible flowers? Rowan & Parsley is situated in a light industrial estate. This restaurant holds the concept of eating homegrown ingredients, paired with exotic herbs.

The owner grows his edible plants and herbs on the ground along the fence and in the rear, as well as potted herbs in a wall of shelves. The decorations make the customer feel like indeed enjoying in a secret garden.

 

The history of the restaurant was an industrial factory, until the owner bought it and turned it into a café. After some hard work in the modification, this restaurant is able to provide a lovely ambiance for the customers. First of all, it is a clean and quiet place for the customers to enjoy their meals. Besides, during the day, the large panels of full height glass helps to induce natural daylight, which then let the customers feel bright and refreshing. Last year, Café Racer opened in a double-storey shop with a distinct bikers’ café identity.

In the space of a few months, the décor which features vintage bikes and scooters, expanded with a collection of helmets and biking paraphernalia. It even has a photo booth upstairs where guests are welcome sit on his bikes to pose for photos!

The whole interior is accented with vintage motorcycles from eras past. From Honda Monkeys to retro CDs, the cafe is also littered with helmets and other riding accessories.
