Founded in 2011, Mixx Club has become one of the best and most successful club in South East Asia. It is a club that’s really worth visiting when you come to Malacca. The vocals of the live band here definitely attract you to pay a visit here! They are really talented performers who can play old day songs to the popular latest songs. The singer, also the owner of the bar, Mr. Ringo doea his own live music in many different languages such as English, Chinese, Cantonese and Malay, all in rock and roll.
They have really good selection of drinks too. They not only serve beers but also fruit juices and cake. You can grab buckets of beers or some fruit juices to go with your favourite cakes like walnut layer cake which is highly recommended while enjoying their music here. 9. Far East Café
Far East Café is a really popular Baba and Nyonya restaurant around Melaka. The cafe is old style and re-decorated with some western style. Their dishes are all home-cooked style and really finger licking good. Their signature dishes are pandan chicken rolls and rendang chicken. Nyonya fried chicken is all one of their signature dishes which you can see every customer will definitely order one on each table.
For their appetizer, the Nyonya Five Spices Pork Roll is highly recommended. It is crispy at the outside but soft and tender inside, with a strong spices flavor.
However, their dishes are more on small portion. So order few more if you are going with bunch of friends. Far East Café may be the only restaurant that you can find at night where they serve main dishes as most of the café will be closed after 6pm.

10. Bistro Year 1963
Bistro Year 1963 is one of the oldest restaurant in this city. You can eat in the lane at between two-storey Dutch heritage building, constructed back in 1673 during the era of Dutch colonisation for the purpose of tax collection fpr Melaka Port. Taking design cues from pre-war Chinese and colonial architecture, Bistro Year 1963 is now beautifully restored and is well known as the oldest building in Jonker Street.
They serve Western, Peranakan, Chinese and of course, Malaccan delicacies to all of their diners. Besides that, diners can soak up the warm atmosphere while awaiting offerings of pizza, spaghetti, rib-eye steak, lamb shank, beef tenderloin, and tiramisu catering to the modern and traditional taste.
Be there earlier if you really want to try out their dishes as their menus probably all sold out before 7pm. It is a really great place for you to enjoy some drinks here after long hour of shopping along the Jonker street.
It is also a perfect spot for a large group of friends to have gathering as the space here is really large enough. Bistro Year 1963 also is one of the few restaurant that open at night.
