We are heading towards coffee territory with The Daily Fix, located along Jalan Hang Jebat, near the infamous Jonker Street area. The café has a very rustic look and feel to it, with good use of exposed brick walls as well as old-timey décor such as pieces of dinosaur tech such as typewriters and an old arial TV.

7. Kedai Kopi Kheng Juan Hin
The Kedai Kopi Kheng Juan Hin is set somewhere along Jalan Limbongan, approximately five minutes away from the Baba Charlie Nyonya Restaurant. Kheng Juan Hin is a modest Chinese-style coffee shop, which has a rather nostalgic sense of style that is also authentic, since they have changed little over the years.
Similar to our previous entry the Lung Ann, as they are both traditional coffee shops, we recommend getting a breakfast set of Half Boiled Eggs, Toast, as well as a cup of Coffee to properly kick start your day. The Kedai Kopi & Makanan Oriental Café, or simply just the Oriental Café, is situated along Jalan Tengkera in the Taman Kota Laksamana area.
The coffee shop is rather small, and retains its aged look and feel with the traditional style tiled flooring as well as half tiled walls and banquet tables.
We recommend that you try out the Fish Ball Noodles, or otherwise known as Hee Kiaw Mee. The fish balls are made fresh in house daily, and retained their fresh flavour and springy texture. We now go back towards the infamous Jonker Street are with the Calanthe Art Café, located along Jalan Hang Kasturi. The space is a wonderful blend of contemporary design and Oriental décor, being a mix of Western influences and more familiar Eastern flair, with the touches of art as well as the paper light up lanterns.

The Sun May Hiong Satay House is located along Jalan Kota Laksama 1/1 in the Taman Kota Laksaman area. As for looks, it does not deviate far from the average Chinese eatery, with the banquet styled tables and the tiled flooring as well as framed Chinese inscriptions. But let’s be honest, whoever comes here just for the looks?
The food here steals the entire show, and we recommend you trying their signature Pork Intestine Satay, which is definitely a rare find.
