9. Kunita Sri Mersing
Whenever visiting Mersing, it is a must for you to visit to Kunita Sri Mersing for their delicious Satar. This small stall is located by the roadside, with shady under roof dining area and an ‘open kitchen’. It is said that Kunita Sri Mersing do offers the best Satar in Mersing and it received many positive comments from their customers, both locals and foreign. Some of them even revisit Mersing due to these delicious Satar.
Satar is a traditional Terengganu Malay snacks which are made with fresh fish flesh, minced chili and minced ginger. These ingredients are pre-mixed before being wrapped into a pyramid shape with a banana leaf. It is then skewed, four to five pieces on a barbecue skewer before being grilled on a hot charcoal grill.
The banana leaves used to wrapped the Satar do helps in offering some fragrance to the Satar fillings, providing it with an additional aroma. For its texture, the Satar filling is compact, non-flaky. It does not have a fishy smell too, as there are minced ginger in this dish.

10. Warong Pau Sri Lalang
Despite the common looking warung operated in a traditional Malay house, Warong Pau Sri Lalang is a Halal eatery that serves Malay delicacies and also Malay light snacks.
